4/88 EXHIBIT NOT ATTACHED ORDINANCE NS-l127 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA CHANGING ZONING CLASSIFICATION ON AMENDMENT APPLICATION $701 FILED BY DONALD R. AND NANCY A. SKJERVEN AND AMENDING DISTRICT MAP 16-5-10 (EX~{IBIT 701-B .) W~EREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly held a public hearing on Amendment Application $701, filed by Donald R. and Nancy A. Skjerven proposing to rezone property hereinbelow described from the R 1 District to the C 2 District, and said Commission, by its Resolution 5994, has recommended ap- proval in accordance with Exhibit A.A. 701-B, reclassifying from the R 1 District to the C 5 District; and W}{EREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on said reclassification on published notice as required by law, and does now find that the public necessity, convenience, and general welfare require that said property be rezoned from the R 1 District to the C 5 District, and that the new classification will not be detrimental to the surrounding property; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1: That the real property in the City of Santa Ana, County of Orange, State of California, described as: Beginning at the intersection of the centerlines of First Street and Andres Place, thence west along the centerline of First Street for a distance of 234' more or less to the True Point of Beginning; thence south along a line approximately parallel to the centerline of Euclid Street for a distance of 200' more or less to the north line of Lot 6, Tract 1287, thence east along said north line for a distance of 67' more or less, thence north along a line approximately parallel to the centerline of Euclid Street for a distance of 200' more or less to the centerline of First Street, thence west along the centerline of First Street for a distance of 67' more or less to the True Point of Beginning. is hereby reclassified from the R 1 District to the C 5 District and Sectional District Map 16-5-10, as revised, is hereby amended to show said reclassification in accordance with Exhibit A.A.701-B. SECTION 2: That the Clerk of the Council shall certify to the passage of this Ordinance and cause the same to be published in some daily newspaper printed and published in the City of Santa Ana. SECTION 3: That this Ordinance shall take effect thirty days from and after the date of its adoption, except as herein specifi- cally provided.
