HEAD TO REZONE PRO- <br />PERTY IN THE AREA GENERALLY DESCRIBED AS THAT <br />AREA ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF FIRST STREET BET- <br />WEEN EUCLID AND COOPER STREETS FROM THE R 1 <br />AND C 1 DISTRICTS TO THE C 5 DISTRICT AND <br />AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAP 17-5-10 <br />(EXHIBIT A. A. 713-B) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and <br />duly held a public hearing on Amendment Application #713, <br />filed by Daniel W. Head proposing to rezone the property in <br />the area on the south side of First Street between Euclid and <br />Cooper Streets from the R 1 and C 1 Districts to the C 5 Dis- <br />trict and said Commission by its Resolution #6012 has rec- <br />ommended approval reclassify from the R 1 and C 1 Districts to <br />the C 5 District in accordance with Exhibit A.A. 713-B and: <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing <br />on said reclassification on published notice as required by <br />law, and does now find that the public necessity, convenience, <br />and general welfare require that said property be rezoned from <br />the R 1 and C 1 Districts to the C 5 District and that the new <br />classification will not be detrimental to the surrounding pro- <br />perty; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> SECTION 1: That the real property in the City of Santa <br />Ana, County of Orange, State of California, described as: <br /> <br />Parcel 1 <br /> <br /> Beginning at the intersection of the centerlines of First <br />Street and Euclid Street; thence west along the centerline of <br />First Street for a distance of 177 feet; thence south along a <br />line approximately parallel to the centerline of Euclid Street <br />for a distance of 177 feet; thence east along a line approxi- <br />mately parallel to the centerline of First Street for a distance <br />of 177 feet to a point on the centerline of Euclid Street; <br />thence north along the centerline of Euclid Street for a dis- <br />tance of 177 feet to the intersection of the centerlines of <br />Euclid Street and First Street and the point of beginning. <br /> <br />Parcel 2 <br /> <br /> Beginning at the intersection of the centerline of First <br />Street and Euclid Street; thence west along the centerline of <br />First Street for a distance of 177 feet and to the True Point <br />of Beginning; thence continuing west along the last said-center- <br />line for a distance of 73 feet; thence south along a line approx- <br />imately parallel to the centerline of Euclid Street for a dis- <br />tance of 235 feet; thence east along a line approximately para- <br />llel to First Street for a distance of 250 feet to the centerline <br /> <br /> <br />
