SECTION 5: The Clerk of the Council shall prepare and cause to be printed official ballots and election supplies necessary for the holding of said Election as required by law, and sample ballots and polling place cards, and a pamphlet containing the proposition to be submitted and the sections of the Charter of the City of Santa Ana proposed to be amended showing the proposed changes, and shall provide for the mailing of the same to each registered elector within the City. SECTION 6: That said General Municipal Election is held to fill the offices for the terms as follows: Four (4) members of the City Council, to be nominated from Wards One, Three, Five and Seven and to be elected by the electors of the City at large, the term of each to begin on April 10, 1973, or as soon thereafter as the result of said Election can be declared, and to hold office until the second Tuesday of April, 1977. SECTION 7: That the Clerk of the Council shall cause this Ordinance to be published one time within fifteen (15) days of the date of its adoption. This Ordinance, dealing with an election, shall take effect on the day of its publication.
