SECTION 60: <br /> <br /> There is hereby appropriated out of the Treasury of the City of <br />Santa Ana for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 1974 for the City Council <br />Revenue Sharing $5 Fund the aggregate sum of Three Million Twenty-Nine <br />Thousand One Hundred Ninety-Five ($3,029,195) Dollars appropriated and <br />restricted for the function, department and/or activity hereinafter set <br />forth in the amount shown as follows: <br /> <br />404 CITY COUNCIL REVENUE SHARING FUND <br /> <br />CODE NO. <br /> <br />FUNCTION, DEPARTMENT, ACTIVITY <br /> <br />APPROPRIATION <br />$ 3,029,195 <br /> <br />117 <br /> <br />City Council-Revenue Sharing <br /> <br />TOTAL CITY COUNCIL REVENUE SHARING FUND 404 <br /> <br />$ 3,029,195 <br /> <br />SECTION 61: <br /> <br /> The appropriations hereinbefore set forth shall constitute the <br />maximum expenditure authorized for the functions, departments and/or <br />activities opposite which the amounts of such appropriations are shown. <br /> <br />SECTION 62: <br /> <br /> No warrant shall be issued or indebtedness incurred which exceeds <br />the unexpended balance of the activity appropriations hereinbefore author- <br />ized unless such appropriations shall have been amended by supplemental <br />appropriations duly enacted by this Council in conformance with Section <br />609 of the Santa Ana City Charter. <br /> <br />SECTION 63: <br /> <br /> The City Manager is hereby authorized to make budgetary revisions <br />within an activity appropriation if in his opinion such revision is neces- <br />sary or proper. <br /> <br />SECTION 64: <br /> <br /> The Director of Finance is hereby authorized to transfer moneys <br />in accordance with the Interfund Transfers listed in this ordinance in <br />such amounts and at such times during the fiscal year as he may determine <br />necessary to the competent operation and control of City business, except <br />that no such transfer shall be made in contravention to State Law or other <br />City ordinance or exceed in total the amount stated herein or as amended <br />by the City Council. <br /> <br />SECTION 65: <br /> <br /> One certified copy of this appropriation ordinance together with <br />a certified copy of each amendment thereto shall be transmitted by the <br />Clerk of the Council to the Director of Finance. <br /> <br />SECTION 66: <br /> <br /> Ail presently applicable documentation pertaining to the number, <br />titles, qualifications, powers, duties, or compensation of officers or <br />employees of the City, which has been previously approved by resolution or <br />order of the City Council and which is currently on file with the Director <br />of Personnel is incorporated herein and is hereby approved. The City <br />Manager is hereby authorized to create, alter, or abolish any position of <br />employment, or the number, title qualifications, powers, duties, or compen- <br />sation thereof, when such action is appropriate to promote the efficiency <br />of the city administrative organization; provided, however, that no such <br />action shall be effective unless and until approved by resolution or order <br />of the City Council. The City Manager is hereby further authorized to make <br />budgetary revisions within an activity appropriation if in his opinion such <br />revision is necessary or proper. <br /> <br />-18- <br /> <br /> <br />
