ORDINANCE NO. NS-1237 <br />PAGE SEVEN <br /> <br />Sec. 38-3.12, Same - proof of safety inspection. <br /> <br /> The applicant shall include with the certificate application, <br />as to each vehicle for which such application is made, a passenger <br />vehicle inspection check-list from the. Santa Aha Police Department <br />or the California Highway Patrol, indiaating that each such vehicle <br />has been inspected within the previous si~ months and is in safe <br />operating condition. If no such check-li~t was. issued by.the <br />inspecting authority the applicant shall so state in the application <br />and shall state the time and place-of the inspection and whether <br />each such vehicle has an unexpired'safety inspection sticker <br />pursuant to Section 38-39. <br /> <br />Sec. 38-3.13. Same , insurance. <br /> <br /> The certificate application shall include'a policy of insurance <br />in the manner and form required by this :hapte~ from a responsible, <br />'solvent insurance carrier authorized to ~issue public liability <br />and property damage insurance in the State of California. <br /> <br />Sec. 38-3.14. Same number of taxicabs. <br /> <br /> Where the certificate application is for operation of a taxi- <br />cab business, it shall be accompanied by an agreement that in <br />the event the application is granted, the applicant will keep <br />in operation at all times at least eight (8) taxicabs~ Each <br />application must be for a minimum 6f not less than ~ight (8} <br />taxicabs. <br /> <br /> Sec. 38-3,15. Same telephone maintenance. <br /> <br /> Whe.re the certificate application is ~or operation of a <br /> taxicab business, it shall be accompanied by an agreement whereby <br /> applicant agrees that he will maintain on the premises of his <br /> principal place of business, in operating order at all times, <br /> one telephone li.nefor every eight {8) taxicabs for which a li- <br /> cense has been granted, and that at all times there will be.an <br /> operator in charge of said telephone or telephones who shall· de- <br /> vote himself exclusively to answering ~aid telephones .and dispatch- <br /> · lng taxicabs in response to requests therefor. <br /> <br /> Sec. 38-3.16. Same - location of vehicles~ <br /> The'certificate application shall include a statement that <br /> no ambulance, motorbus, or taxicab shall be kept garaged, serviced, <br />"'maintained or repaired on any premises where the zoning chapter <br /> of the Santa Ana Municipal Code does not permit~the same. <br /> <br /> Sec. 38-2.17. Same..- owne~shipdata. ~ <br /> <br /> The certificate application sh~ll include a statement listing <br /> the registered and legal owner of said vehicles and the addresses <br /> of either registered and/or legal owner or owners. <br /> <br />Sec. 38-3.18. Same - schedule of rates. <br /> <br /> The Certificate application ~hali';includ'e a scheduie <br />.·rates 'proposed to be charged.· ".- <br /> <br /> Sec. 38-3.19~ Same - corpo'~ation data,· <br /> <br />of <br /> <br /> If the applicant is a corporation, the certificate applica- <br />tion shall be accompanied by copies o~ the articles of incorpora- <br />tion ~nd by-la~s and of any permits or notifications for the <br />issuance of shares filed with or issued by'the·commissioner'of <br />corporations. <br /> <br /> <br />
