ORDINANCE NO. NS- 1262 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA AMENDING SECTION 2-103 <br />OF THE SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING <br />TO THE RULES OF ORDER TO BE FOLLOWED AT <br />MEETINGS OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES <br />ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> Section 1: That Section 2-103 of the Santa Ana <br />Municipal Code is amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />Section 2-103: Rules of Order. <br /> <br /> Unless a provision to the contrary is contained <br />in the charter of the City or in this Code, procedures before <br />the Council shall be governed by "Parliamentary Procedure at <br />a Glance" by O. Garfield Jones, published by Appleton-Century, <br />New York, which is an abbreviated form of Robert's Rules of <br />Order. In case of any dispute or doubt, "Robert's Rules of <br />Order, Newly Revised" shall control. <br /> <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of <br />Santa Ana at its adjourned regular meeting held on the 14th <br />day of July , 1975. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />~LORENCE I.
