REL:nr <br />11-3-76 <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. NS-1540 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA ADOPTING <br />SPECIFIC PLAN FOR STREET ALIGNMENT NO. 47 AND <br />ADDING SECTION 41-746 TO THE SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL <br />CODE, TO ESTABLISH STREET ALIGNMENT FOR RAITT <br />STREET BETWEEN SUNFLOWER AVENUE AND ALTON AVENUE <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, after public hearing on notice, the Santa Ana <br />Planning Commission has recommended the adoption of Specific Plan <br />of Street Alignment No. 47, which establishes the alignment of a <br />portion of Raitt Street; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, after hearing before the City Council on notice <br />as required by law, this Council has determined that the alignment <br />of Raitt Street between Sunflower Avenue and Alton Avenue should be <br />established in accordance with the said Specific Plan of Street <br />Alignment No. 47 in order to promote the public safety and welfare; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Santa Ana <br />does ordain as follows: <br /> <br /> SECTION l: That Specific Plan of Street Alignment No. 47 <br />is hereby adopted by the City Council as the street alignment for <br />Raitt Street between Sunflower Avenue and Alton Avenue. <br /> <br /> SECTION 2: That Section 41-746 is hereby added to the <br />Santa Ana Municipal Code, to read as follows: <br /> <br />Sec. 41-746. Specific Plan for Street Alignment No. 47. <br /> <br />Raitt Street between Sunflower Avenue and Alton Avenue. <br /> <br /> SECTION 3: If any section, subsection, sentence, clause, <br />phrase or portion of this ordinance is for any reason held to be <br />invalid or unconstitutional by the decision of any court of compe- <br />tent jurisdiction, such decision shall not affect the validity of <br />the remaining portions of this ordinance. The City Council of the <br />City of Santa Ana hereby declares that it would have adopted this <br />ordinance and each section, subsection, sentence, clause, phrase <br />or portion thereof irrespective of the fact that any one or more <br />sections, subsections, sentences, clauses, phrases or portions be <br />declared invalid or unconstitutional. <br /> <br />following <br /> <br />ADOPTED this 28th day of December , 1976, by the <br />vote: <br /> <br />AYES, COUNCiLMEN:Brandt, Ward, Bricken, Ortiz, <br /> Yamamoto, Garthe <br />NOES, COUNCILMEN:Evans <br /> <br />ABSENT, COUNCILMEN:None <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />CLERK OF TF~E COUNCIL <br /> <br />APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br />City Attorney <br /> <br /> <br />
