Same - Liability Amounts. <br /> <br />The required motor vehicle liability policy shall insure the <br />owner, and any other person using or responsible for the use <br />of any such vehicle, with the consent, expressed or implied <br />of such owner, against loss from the liability imposed upon <br />such owner or person by law for injury to, or death of any <br />person, or damage to property growing out of the maintenance, <br />operation or ownership of any vehicle for hire or ambulance, <br />in the amount of three hundred thousand dollars ($300,000.00) <br />combined single limit; or one hundred thousand dollars <br />($100,000.00) for bodily injury to any one person, in the <br />amount of three hundred thousand dollars ($300,000.00) for <br />bodily injury to more than one person which is sustained in <br />the same accident and in the amount of one hundred thousand <br />dollars ($100,000.00) for property damage resulting from any <br />one accident, and providing passenger medical payment coverage <br />with limits of liability of one thousand dollars ($1,000.00) <br />for each person. <br /> <br />Sec. 32-3.2. Same - Compliance <br /> <br />Ail motor vehicle liability policies shall be subject to the <br />approval of the city attorney in respect to any and all matters <br />and if at any time, said motor vehicle liability policies are <br />not sufficient for any cause, the city manager may require the <br />owner of such vehicle for hire or ambulance to immediately <br />cease all operations of business due to noncompliance. If <br />said owner fails to replace said motor vehicle policies within <br />ten (10) days with good and sufficient policies as aforesaid, <br />then at the termination of said period the owner's permit or <br />certificate issued hereunder shall be by such failure auto- <br />matically suspended until such time as said requirement is <br />complied with, and the chief of police shall enforce such <br />suspension. Such policy or policies of insurance shall be <br />presented to the city attorney and approved by him as to form. <br /> <br />Sec. 32-3.3. Bond in Lieu of Liability Policy. <br /> <br />Subject to the approval of the city attorney and the city <br />manager the owner of any vehicle for hire or ambulance, operated <br />under the provisions of this chapter, may file a bond of a <br />responsible and solvent corporation authorized to issue such <br />bonds under the laws of the State of California, containing <br />the conditions and giving the protection required in the vehicle <br />for hire or ambulance liability policy required by this chapter <br />in lieu of either all or any part of the insurance coverage <br />required. <br /> <br />In the event of the filing of a bond under the provisions <br />of this section, the applicable provisions of this chapter <br />shall govern the furnishing of said bond and the owner filing <br />it. <br /> <br />Sec. 32-3.4. Same - Policy Endorsement. <br /> <br />Every policy and every certificate of motor vehicle liability <br />insurance filed pursuant to the provisions of this chapter <br />shall contain the following endorsements: <br /> <br /> <br />
