NS-]$97 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />AMENDING SECTIONS 41-377 and 41-395 OF <br />THE SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE AND <br />ADDING SECTION 41-120.1, to PROVIDE <br />FOR USE OF PROPERTY IN THE C-2 AND C-3 <br />ZONES AS A MISSION <br /> <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES <br />ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> Section 1: That the Santa Ana Municipal Code is <br />hereby amended by adding a section, to be numbered 41-120.1, <br />which said section reads as follows: <br /> <br />Sec. 41-120.1 Mission. <br /> <br /> A "Mission" is an establishment or building used for <br />the purpose of carrying on humanitarian work and/or propagating <br />the faith of a religious organization where one or both of the <br />following activities occur: (1) meals are furnished to persons <br />in need for free or for nominal consideration, or (2) overnight <br />lodging is furnished to persons in need for free or for nominal <br />consideration. <br /> <br /> Section 2: That section 41-377 of the Santa Ana <br />Municipal Code is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />Sec. 41-377 Uses Permitted. <br /> <br />Permitted uses are: <br /> <br /> (a) Ail uses permitted in the Cl district but subject <br />to the conditions, restrictions and limitations of this district. <br /> <br /> (b) Advertising signs and structures including <br />billboards. <br /> <br /> (c) Carnivals and circuses; provided, however, that no <br />such use shall locate or operate longer than ten (10) days within <br />a six-month period on the same recorded parcel. <br /> <br /> (d) Automotive garages, including body and fender <br />repair, painting, and engine replacement. <br /> <br /> (e) Blueprinting, photoengraving, including all types <br />of reproduction processes. <br /> <br />(f) Enclosed storage, except mini-warehouses. <br /> <br /> (g) Nightclubs, bowling alleys, dance halls, skating <br />rinks, sports stadiums, arenas and outdoor theaters; provided <br />that no such establishment selling liquor or beer for consumption <br />on the premises may locate or operate within three hundred (300) <br />feet of any property zoned or used for residential or agricultural <br />purposes without first obtaining a minor exception permit. No <br />minor exception permit shall be required when property within <br />three hundred (300) feet of an existing nightclub, bowling alley, <br />dance hall, skating rink, sports stadium, arena or outdoor <br />theater, selling liquor or beer for consump'~onon the premises <br />subsequently is zoned or used for residential or agricultural <br />purposes. <br /> <br /> <br />
