NS-1449 <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF <br /> SANTA ANA APPROVING AMENDMENT <br /> APPLICATION NO. 799 TO REZONE <br /> PROPERTY LOCATED <br /> AT 2200 N. BROADWAY, SANTA ANA <br />FROM THE R1 (SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENCE) DISTRICT <br />TO THE P (PROFESSIONAL) DISTRICT <br /> AND AMENDING SECTIONAL MAP NO. 1-5-10 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the real property located at 2200 North <br />Broadway and more particularly described infra, is located <br />within the R1 (Single Family Residence) District, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Amendment Application No. 799 has been <br />filed to amend Sectional District Map No. 1-5-10 to rezone <br />such real property to the P (Professional) District, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice <br />of and duly held a public hearing on said Amendment Applica- <br />tion and has recommended approval thereof, .and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public <br />hearing on the said Amendment Application on published <br />notice required by law and does now find that the public <br />necessity, convenience, and general welfare require that the <br />said property to be reclassified as requested in the said <br />Amendment Application, and that the new classification will <br />not be detrimental to the surrounding property, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, prior to taking this action the City <br />Council has reviewed and considered the information con- <br />tained in Negative Declaration, I.S. No. 78-144, and, on the <br />basis thereof, finds that the project will not have a <br />significant effect on the environment; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />SANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN that the real property situated in the <br />City of Santa Aha, County of Orange, State of California, <br />generally located at 2200 North Broadway, and more particu- <br />larly described in Exhibit A, attached hereto and incor- <br />porated herein as though fully set forth, is hereby re- <br />classified from the R1 (Single Family Residence) District <br />to the P (Professional) District, and that Sectional District <br />Map No. 1-5-10 is hereby amended to show said reclassification <br />in accordance with Exhibit AA-799-A. <br /> <br /> ADOPTED, this <br />by the following vote: <br /> <br /> AYES: <br /> <br /> NOES: <br /> <br /> ABSENT: <br /> ABSTAINED: <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />5th day of September , 1978, <br /> <br />COUNCILMEN: Garthe, Brandt, Bricken, 0rtiz, <br /> Yamamoto <br /> <br />COUNCILMENi None t~ <br /> <br /> MAYOR <br /> <br />KEITH L.
