NS- 1453 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />APPROVING AMENDMENT APPLICATION <br />NO. 800 TO REZONE PROPERTY LOCATED AT <br />5016 WEST FIFTH STREET, FROM THE A1 <br />(GENERAL AGRICULTURE) DISTRICT TO THE <br />R2 (MULTIPLE FAMILY RESIDENCE) DISTRICT <br />AND AMENDING SECTIONAL MAP NO. 9-5-10 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the real property located at 5016 West <br />Fifth Street and more particularly described infra, is <br />located within the A1 (General Agriculture) District, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Amendment Application No. 800 has been <br />filed to amend Sectional District Map No. 9-5-10 to rezone <br />such real property to the R2 (Multiple Family Residence) <br />District, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice <br />of and duly held a public hearing on said Amendment Applica- <br />tion and has recommended approval thereof, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public <br />hearing on the said Amendment Application on published <br />notice required by law and does now find that the public <br />necessity, convenience, and general welfare require that the <br />said property to be reclassified as requested in the said <br />Amendment Application, and that the new classification will <br />not be detrimental to the surrounding property, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, prior to taking this action the City <br />Council has reviewed and considered the information contained <br />in Negative Declaration, I.S. No. 78-155, and, on the basis <br />thereof, finds that the project will not have a significant <br />effect on the environment; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />SANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN that the real property situated in the <br />City of Santa Ana, County of Orange, State of California, <br />generally located at 5016 West Fifth Street, and more <br />particularly described in Exhibit A, attached hereto and <br />incorporated herein as though fully set forth, is hereby <br />reclassified from the A1 (General Agriculture) District to <br />the R2 (Multiple Family Residence) District, and that <br />Sectional District Map No. 9-5-10 is hereby amended to show <br />said reclassification in accordance with Exhibit AA 800-A. <br /> <br /> ADOPTED, this 18th day of <br />by the following vote: <br /> <br />AYES: COUNCILMEN: <br /> <br /> NOES: COUNCILMEN: <br />ATTEST: ABSENT: COUNCIIaXlE,~ <br /> OUNCIL [ <br />AP TO <br /> <br />CITY ATTORNEY <br /> <br /> September , 1978, <br /> <br />Brandt, 0rtiz, Bricken, <br />Yamamoto, Garthe, Ward <br /> <br />MAYOR <br /> <br /> <br />
