NS- 1481 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />APPROVING AMENDMENT APPLICATION <br />NO. 810 TO PREZONE PROPERTY LOCATED ON <br />THE SOUTH SIDE OF SANTA CLARA AVENUE <br />EASTERLY OF CONCORD STREET IN THE COUNTY <br />OF ORANGE TO THE R1 (SINGLE FAMILY <br />RESIDENCE) DISTRICT, AND AMENDING <br />SECTIONAL MAP NO. 5-5-9 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the real property located on the south <br />side of Santa Clara Avenue easterly of Concord Street, and <br />more particularly described infra, is presently in unincor- <br />porated territory of the County of Orange contiguous to the <br />City of Santa Ana; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Amendment Application No. 810 has been <br />filed by the City of Santa Ana, to prezone such real property <br />to the R1 (Single Family Residence) District pursuant to <br />Section 41-188 of the Santa Ana Municipal Code; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice <br />of and duly held a public hearing on said Amendment Applica- <br />tion and has recommended approval thereof, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public <br />hearing on the said Amendment Application on published <br />notice required by law and does now find that the public <br />necessity, convenience, and general welfare require that the <br />said property to be classified as requested in the said <br />Amendment Application, and that the said classification will <br />not be detrimental to the surrounding property, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, prior to taking this action the City <br />Council has reviewed and considered the information contained <br />in Negative Declaration, I.S. No. 79-4, and, on the basis <br />thereof, finds that the project will not have a significant <br />effect on the environment; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />SANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN that the real property situated in the <br />unincorporated territory of the County of Orange, State of <br />California, generally located on the south side of Santa <br />Clara Avenue easterly of Concord Street, and more particularly <br />described in Exhibit A, attached hereto and incorporated <br />herein as though fully set forth, is hereby prezoned to the <br />R1 (Single Family Residence) District, and that Sectional <br />District Map No. 5-5-9 is hereby amended to show said classi- <br />fication in accordance with Exhibit AA 810 - A. <br /> <br /> ADOPTED this 2nd day of April , 1979, by <br />the following vote: <br /> <br />AYES: <br /> <br />COUNCILMEN: Brandt,Evans,Garthe,Ward,Yamamoto <br /> <br />NOES: COUNCILMEN: None <br /> <br /> ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />CLERK OF THE COUN~L/~/ <br />APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br /> <br />KEITH L.
