NS-]512 <br /> <br /> ANORDINANCE OF THE <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA ADDING ARTICLE VI, <br />SECTION 13-60 TO CHAPTER 13 OF THE SANTA ANA <br />MUNICIPAL CODE ESTABLISHING A SPECIAL <br />REVOLVING FUND FOR REPAIR AND DEMOLITION <br />OF BUILDINGS DECLARED TO BE PUBLIC NUISANCE. <br /> <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES <br />ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> That the Santa Ana Municipal Code is hereby amended <br />by adding an article to Chapter 13, to be numbered Article <br />VI, which said Article reads as follows: <br /> <br />ARTICLE VI: <br /> <br />SPECIAL REVOLVING FUND FOR REPAIR <br />AND DEMOLITION OF BUILDINGS DECLARED <br />TO BE A PUBLIC NUISANCE. <br /> <br />Section 13-60 Repair And Demolition Fund. <br /> <br />(a) There is hereby established a special revolving <br />fund to be designated as the Repair and Demolition <br />Fund. Payments shall be made out of said fund <br />upon the. demand of the City Manager to defray the <br />costs and expenses which may be incurred by the <br />city in doing or causing to be done the necessary <br />work of repair or demolition of dangerous buildings <br />as provided in Chapter 8 of this Code. <br /> <br /> (b) The City Council may at any time transfer to <br />the Repair and Demolition Fund, out of any money <br />in the General Fund of the City, such sums as it <br />may deem necessary in order to expedite the performance <br />of the work of repair or demolition, and any sum <br />so transferred shall be deemed a loan to the <br />Repair and Demolition Fund and shall be repaid out <br />of the proceeds of the collections provided for <br />in Chapter 8 of this code. All funds collected <br />under such assessment proceedings shall be deposited <br />in the Repair and Demolition Fund. <br /> <br /> ADOPTED this 3rd day of December , 1979, by <br />the following vote: <br /> <br />AYES: <br /> <br />NOES: <br /> <br />COUNCILMEN: <br />COUNCILMEN: <br /> <br />Bricken, Griset, Luxembourger, Serrato, <br /> Ward <br />Markel, Yamamoto <br /> <br />ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: None <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />~ty <br />' ~ Attorney <br /> <br /> <br />
