NS- 1529 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA APPROVING <br />AMENDMENT APPLICATION NO. 827 TO REZONE PROPERTY <br />LOCATED AT 3824 WEST HAZARD AVENUE FROM THE C4 <br />(PLANNED SHOPPING CENTER) DISTRICT TO THE R2-PRD <br />(MULTIPLE FAMILY - PLANNED RESIDENTIAL DEVELOPMENT) <br />DISTRICT AND AMENDING SECTIONAL MAP NO. 9-5-10 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the real property located at 3824 West <br />Hazard Avenue, and more particularly described infra, is <br />located within the C4 (Planned Shopping Center) District, <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Amendment Application No. 827 has been <br />filed to amend Sectional District Map No. 9-5-10 to rezone <br />such real property to the R2-PRD (Multiple Family ~ Planned <br />Residential Development) District, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice <br />of and duly held a public hearing on said Amendment Applica- <br />tion and has recommended approval thereof, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public <br />hearing on the said Amendment Application on published <br />notice required by law and does now find that the public <br />necessity, convenience, and general welfare require that the <br />said property be reclassified as requested in the said <br />Amendment Application, and that the new classification will <br />not be detrimental to the surrounding property, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, prior to taking this action the City <br />Council has reviewed and considered the information contained <br />in Negative Declaration, I.S. No. 80-15, and, on the basis <br />thereof, finds that the project will not have a significant <br />effect on the environment; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />SANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN that the real property situated in the <br />City of Santa Ana, County of Orange, State of California, <br />generally located at 3824 West Hazard Avenue, and more <br />particularly described as the westerly 106.93 feet of Parcel <br />2, and Parcels 3 and 4, as shown on a map recorded in Book <br />54, Page 31, of Parcel Maps, records of Orange County is <br />hereby reclassified from the C4 (Planned Shopping Center) <br />District to the R2-PRD (Multiple Family - Planned Residential <br />Development) District and that Sectional District Map No. 9- <br />5-10 is hereby amended to show said reclassification in <br />accordance with Exhibit A.A. 827-A, <br /> <br />ADOPTED this 2nd day of June , 1980, <br />by the following vote: <br /> <br />AYES: <br /> <br />NOES: <br /> <br />COUNCILMEN: Bricken, Luxembourger, Serrato, Ward <br /> Yamamoto <br />COUNCILMEN: Markel <br /> <br /> ABSENT: <br /> <br /> ATTEST: <br /> <br />(APPROVED AS TO FORM:k_/ <br /> <br />COUNCILMEN: Griset <br /> <br />EDWARD J.~COO~E~2~ City Attorney <br /> <br /> <br />
