NS- 1531 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />APPROVING AMENDMENT APPLICATION NO. 830 <br />TO REZONE PROPERTY LOCATED AT 201, 207, <br />AND 213 SOUTH ORANGE AVENUE AND 308 AND <br />310 EAST WALNUT STREET FROM THE C2 (GENERAL <br />COMMERCIAL) DISTRICT TO THE R3H (HIGH-DENSITY <br />MULTIPLE-FAMILY RESIDENCE) AND AMENDING <br />SECTIONAL MAP NO. 18-5-9 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the real property located at 201, 207, <br />and 213 South Orange Avenue and 308 and 310 East Walnut <br />Street and more particularly described infra, is located <br />within the C2 (General Commercial) District, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Amendment Application No. 830 has been <br />filed to amend Sectional District Map No. 18-5-9 to rezone <br />such real property to the R3H (High-Density Multiple-Family <br />Residence) District, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice <br />of and duly held a public hearing on said Amendment Applica- <br />tion and has recommended approval thereof, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public <br />hearing on the said Amendment Application on published <br />notice required by law and does now find that the public <br />necessity, convenience, and general welfare require that the <br />said property be reclassified as requested in the said <br />Amendment Application, and that the new classification will <br />not be detrimental to the surrounding property, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, prior to taking this action the City <br />Council has reviewed and considered the information contained <br />in Negative Declaration, I.S. No. 80-43, and, on the basis <br />thereof, finds that the project will not have a significant <br />effect on the environment; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />SANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN that the real property situated in the <br />City of Santa Ana, County of Orange, State of California, <br />generally located at 201, 207, and 213 South Orange Avenue <br />and 308 and 310 East Walnut Street, and more particularly <br />described as lots 2, 3 and 4, Block H of "Blee's Second <br />Addition" as shown on a map recorded at Book 2, page 162, of <br />Miscellaneous Maps, records of Los Angeles County is hereby <br />reclassified from the C2 (General Commercial) District to <br />the R3H (High-Density Multiple-Family Residence) District <br />and that Sectional District Map No. 18-5-9 is hereby amended <br />to show said reclassification in accordance with Exhibit A.A. <br /> <br />ADOPTED this 2nd day of June , 1980, <br />by the following vote: <br /> <br /> AYES: COUNCILMEN: Luxembourger, Serrato, Ward, <br /> Yamamoto <br /> <br /> NOES: COUNCILMEN: ~arkel <br /> <br /> ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: <br />ATTEST: <br /> ABSTAINED: COUNCILMEN: <br /> <br /> · <br /> <br />%3iPPROVED AS TO FORM~ <br /> ~ Attorney <br /> <br />Griset <br /> <br />Bric~~ ~ ~~ <br /> MAYOR <br /> <br />830-B~ <br /> <br /> <br />
