REL:ms <br />5/22/80 <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. NS-1533 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />APPROVING AMENDMENT APPLICATION NO. 832 <br />TO REZONE PROPERTY LOCATED AT 2525 NORTH <br />MAIN STREET AND 201 AND 209 EDGEWOOD ROAD <br />FROM THE C2 (GENERAL COMMERCIAL) AND R1 <br />(SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENCE) DISTRICTS TO <br />THE LP(SD) (LIMITED PROFESSIONAL/ SPECIFIC <br />DEVELOPMENT) DISTRICT AND AMENDING <br />SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAP NO. 6-5-9 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the real property located at 2525 North <br />Main Street and 201 and 209 Edgewood Road in the City of <br />Santa Ana, and more particularly described infra, is located <br />within the C2 (General Commercial) and R1 (Single Family <br />Residence) Districts;and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Amendment Application No. 832 has been <br />filed to amend Sectional District Map No. 6-5-9 to rezone <br />such real property to the LP(SD) (Limited Professional/Specific <br />Development) District, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice <br />of and duly held a public hearing on Amendment Application No. <br />and has recommended approval thereof} and <br /> <br />832 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public <br />hearing on the said Amendment Application on published <br />notice required by law and does now find that the public <br />necessity, convenience, and general welfare require that the <br />said property be reclassified as requested in the said <br />Amendment Application, and that the new classification will <br />not be detrimental to the surrounding property; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, prior to taking this action, the City <br />Council has reviewed and considered the information contained <br />in Negative Declaration (I.S. No. 80-54), and, on the basis <br />thereof, finds that the project will not have a significant <br />effect upon the environment; <br /> <br /> NOW THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />SANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN that the real property situated in the <br />City of Santa Ana, County of Orange, State of California, <br />generally located at 2525 North Main Street and 201 and 209 <br />Edgewood Road, and more particularly described in Exhibit A, <br />attached hereto and incorporated herein as though fully set <br />forth, is hereby reclassified from the C2 (General Commercial) <br /> <br /> <br />
