REL:ms <br />6/3/80 <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. NS- 1534 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />APPROVING AbiENDMENT APPLICATION NO. 833 <br />TO REZONE PROPERTY LOCATED AT 4309 r 4317 <br />WEST McFADDEN AVENUE FROM THE A1 (GENERAL <br />AGRICULTURE) DISTRICT TO THE R2 (MULTIPLE <br />FAMILY RESIDENCE) DISTRICT AND AMENDING <br />SECTIONAL MAP NO. 16-5-10 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the real property located at 4309 - 4317 <br />West McFadden Avenue and more particularly described infra, <br />is located within the A1 (General Agriculture) District, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Amendment Application No. 833 has been <br />filed to amend Sectional District Map No. 16-5-10 to rezone <br />such real property to the R2 (Multiple Family Residence) <br />District, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice <br />of and duly held a public hearing on said Amendment Applica- <br />tion and has recommended approval thereof, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public <br />hearing on the said Amendment Application on published <br />notice required by law and does now find that the public <br />necessity, convenience, and general welfare require that the <br />said property be reclassified as requested in the said <br />Amendment Application, and that the new classification will <br />not be detrimental to the surrounding property, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, prior to taking this action the City <br />Council has reviewed and considered the information contained <br />in Negative Declaration (I.S. No. 80-80), and, on the basis <br />thereof, finds that the project will not have a significant <br />effect on the environment; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />SANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN that the real property situated in the <br />City of Santa Ana, County of Orange, State of California, <br />generally located at 4309 -4317 West McFadden Avenue, and <br />more particularly described in Exhibit A, attached hereto <br />and incorporated herein as though fully set forth, is hereby <br />reclassified from the A1 (General Agriculture) District to <br />the R2 (Multiple Family Residence) District, and that Sectional <br />District Map No. 16-5-10 is hereby amended to show said <br />reclassification in accordance with Exhibit A.A. 833-A. <br /> <br /> ADOPTED this 7th day of July , 1980, <br />by the following vote: <br /> <br /> AYES: COUNCILMEN: BRICK~N, GRISET, L~0URG£R, SERRATO, <br /> NOES: COUNCILMEN: MARK~L, YAMA)~DT0 <br /> <br />ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: NONE <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />City Attorney <br /> <br /> <br />
