NS-I554 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />APPROVING AMENDMENT APPLICATION NO. 837 <br />TO REZONE PROPERTY LOCATED AT 1806-1818 <br />NORTH FAIRVIEW STREET FROM THE R 1 <br />(SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENCE) DISTRICT TO <br />THE R4 (SUBURBAN APARTMENT) DISTRICT <br />AND AMENDING SECTIONAL MAP NO. 3-5-10 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the real property located at 1806-1818 <br />North Fairv iew Street and more particularly described <br />infra, is located within the R1 (Single Family Residence) <br />District, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Amendment Application No. 837 has been <br />filed to amend Sectional District Map No. 3-5-10 to rezone <br />such real property to the R4 (Suburban Apartment) District, <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice <br />of and duly held a public hearing on said Amendment <br />Application and has recommended approval thereof, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public <br />hearing on the said Amendment Application on published <br />notice required by law and does now find that the public <br />necessity, convenience, and general welfare require that the <br />said property be reclassified as requested in the said <br />Amendment Application, and that the new classification will <br />not be detrimental to the surrounding property, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, prior to taking this action the City <br />Council has reviewed and considered the information <br />contained in Negative Declaration (I.S. No. 80-155), and, on <br />the basis thereof, finds that the project will not have a <br />significant effect on the environment; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />SANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN that the real property situated in the <br />City of Santa Ana, County of Orange, State of California, <br />generally located at 1806-1818 North Fairview Street, and <br />more particularly described in Exhibit A, attached hereto <br />and incorporated herein as though fully set forth, is hereby <br />reclassified from the R 1 (Single Family Residence) District <br />to the R4 (Suburban Apartment) District and that Sectional <br />District Map No. 3-5-10 is hereby amended to show said <br />reclassification in accordance with Exhibit A.A. 837-A. <br /> <br /> ADOPTED this 17th day of November , 1980, by <br />the following vote: <br /> <br /> AYES: COUNCILMEN: Bricken.
