NS-1555 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />APPROVING AMENDMENT APPLICATION NO. 842 <br />TO REZONE PROPERTY LOCATED ON THE SOUTHWEST <br />CORNER OF GARNSEY STREET AND SANTA ANA <br />BOULEVARD FROM THE R3, HDII (MEDIUM DENSITY <br />MULTIPLE FAMILY RESIDENCE, HEIGHT DISTRICT <br />II) DISTRICT TO THE CD, HD II (CIVIC <br />DEVELOPMENT, HEIGHT DISTRICT II) DISTRICT <br />AND AMENDING SECTIONAL MAP NO. 12-5-10. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the real property located on the south- <br />west corner of Garnsey Street and Santa Ana Boulevard and <br />more particularly described infra, is located within the <br />R3, HD II (Medium Density Multiple Family Residence, Height <br />District II) District, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Amendment Application No. 842 has been <br />filed to amend Sectional District Map No. 12-5-10 to rezone <br />such real property to the CD, HD II (Civic Development, <br />Height District II) District, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public <br />hearing on the said Amendment Application on published <br />notice required by law and does now find that the public <br />necessity, convenience, and general welfare require that the <br />said property be reclassified as requested in the said <br />Amendment Application, and that the new classification will <br />not be detrimental to the surrounding property, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, prior to taking this action the City <br />Council has reviewed and considered the information <br />contained in Negative Declaration (I.S. No. 80-178), and, <br />the basis thereof, finds that the project will not have a <br />significant effect on the environment; <br /> <br />on <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />SANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN that the real property situated in the <br />City of Santa Ana, County of Orange, State of California, <br />generally located on the southwest corner of Garnsey Street <br />and Santa Ana Boulevard, and more particularly described in <br />Exhibit A, attached hereto and incorporated herein as though <br />fully set forth, is hereby reclassified from the R3, HD II <br />(~edium Density Multiple Family Residence, Height District II) <br />District to the CD, HD II (Civic Development, Height District <br />II) District, and that Sectional District Map NO. 12-5-10 <br />is hereby amended to show said reclassification in accord- <br />ance with Exhibit A.A. 842- A. <br /> ADOPTED this l?th day of November , 1980, by <br />the following vote: <br /> <br />AYES: COUNCILMEN: <br />NOES: COUNCILMEN: <br /> <br />Bricken, Griset, Luxembour§er, <br />Serrato, Yamam0t0 <br />Ma~kel <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: None <br />ABSTAINED: COUNCILMEN: Ward <br /> <br />APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br /> <br />EDWARD J.
