NS- 1560 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA PROVIDING <br />FOR THE HOLDING OF A GENERAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION <br /> IN THE CITY OF SANTA ANA ON MARCH 3, 1981 <br /> <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES <br />ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> SECTION 1: That a General Municipal Election is <br />hereby called to be held in the City of Santa Ana, California, <br />on March 3, 1981. Said election date is prescribed by the <br />City Council of the City of Santa Ana for purposes of con- <br />solidating the said General Municipal Election with an <br />election to be held the same date by the Santa Ana Unified <br />School District, in accordance with Section 1201 of the <br />Charter of the City of Santa Ana. <br /> <br /> SECTION 2: That the said General Municipal <br />Election is held to fill the office of four (4) members of <br />the City Council, to be nominated from Wards One, Three, <br />Five, and Seven, and to be elected at large by the electors <br />of the city, the term each to begin on April 14, 1981, or as <br />soon thereafter as the result of said election can be de- <br />clared, and to end on the second Tuesday in April, 1985; and <br />for the purpose of submitting to the electors of the city <br />such proposals for the amendment of the Charter of the city <br />as may be approved by the City Council. <br /> <br /> ADOPTED this 8th <br />by the following vote: <br /> <br />day of December , 1980, <br /> <br />AYES: <br /> <br />NOES: <br /> <br />COUNCILMEN: <br />COUNCILMEN: <br /> <br />Bricken, Griset, Luxembourger, Markel, <br />Serrato, Ward, Yamamoto <br />None <br /> <br />ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: None <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />APPPROVED AS TO FORM: <br /> <br /> ES <br /> E.WARD, MAYOR <br /> <br />CITY ATTORNEY <br /> <br /> <br />
