NS-1566 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br />THE CITY OF SANTA ANA ADDING SECTION <br />2-214 TO THE SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE <br />PERTAINING TO THE USE OF THE CITY <br />EMBLEM ON SOUVENIRS AND DECORATIVE <br />ITEMS <br /> <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES <br />ORDAIN that the Santa Ana Municipal Code, is hereby amended <br />by adding a section, to be numbered 2-214, which said <br />section reads as follows: <br /> <br />Sec. 2-214 Manufacture and Sale of <br /> Souvenirs and Decorative Items. <br /> <br /> Nothing in this Article shall prevent a person <br />from manufacturing or selling non-documentary objects, such <br />as souvenirs or decorative items, bearing the City emblem as <br />part of the design, provided that such person undertakes <br />such activity pursuant to agreement with the city, approved <br />by the city council or by such officer as the city council <br />may designate, containing such requirements and limitations <br />as the city council or such officer shall deem appropriate <br />to assure that such use of the city emblem is in good taste <br />and in the best interests of the City of Santa Ana. <br /> <br />ADOPTED this 16th day of March , 1981, <br />by the following vote: <br /> <br />AYES: COUNCILMEN: <br />NOES: COUNCILMEN: <br /> <br />Bricken, Griset, Luxembourger, Markel, <br />Ward <br />Serrato, Yamamoto <br /> <br />ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: None <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />MAYOR <br /> <br />EbWARD ~.
