NS- 1583 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />APPROVING AMENDMENT APPLICATION <br />NO. 850 TO REZONE PROPERTY LOCATED AT <br />2718-2726 WESTMINISTER BOULEVARD FROM <br />THE C1 (COMMUNITY COMMERCIAL) AND R1 <br />(SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENCE) DISTRICTS <br />TO THE R2 - PRD (MULTIPLE FAMILY - <br />PLANNED RESIDENTIAL DEVELOPMENT) DISTRICT <br />AND AMENDING SECTIONAL MAP NO. 10-5-10. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the real property located at 2718-2726 <br />Westminster Boulevard and more particularly described infra, <br />is located within the Cl (Community Commercial) and R1 <br />(Single Family Residence) Districts, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Amendment Application No. 850 has been <br />filed to amend Sectional District Map No. 10-5-10 to rezone <br />such real property to the R2 - PRD (Multiple Family - <br />Planned Residential Development) District, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice <br />of and duly held a public hearing on said Amendment <br />Application and has recommended approval thereof, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public <br />hearing on the said Amendment Application on published <br />notice required by law and does now find that the public <br />necessity, convenience, and general welfare require that the <br />said property be reclassified as requested in the said <br />Amendment Application, and that the new classification will <br />not be detrimental to the surrounding property, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, prior to taking this action the City <br />Council has reviewed and considered the information <br />contained in Negative Declaration (I.S. NO. 81-25), and, on <br />the basis thereof, finds that the project will not have a <br />significant effect on the environment; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />SANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN that the real property situated in the <br />City of Santa Ana, County of Orange, State of California, <br />generally located at 2718-2726 Westminster Boulevard, and <br />more particularly described in Exhibit A, attached hereto <br />and incorporated herein as though fully set forth, is hereby <br />reclassified from the C1 (Community Commercial) and R1 <br />(Single Family Residence) Districts to the R2 - PRD <br />(Multiple Family - Planned Residential Development) <br />District, and that Sectional District Map No. 10-5-10 is <br />hereby amended to show said reclassification in accordance <br />with Exhibit A.A. 850-A. <br /> <br />by the <br /> <br /> ADOPTED this 4th day of <br />following vote: <br /> <br /> AYES: COUNCILMEMBERS: <br /> NOES: COUNCILMEMBERS: <br /> ABSENT: COUNCILMEMBERS: <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br /> <br />ATTORNEY <br /> <br />May , 1981, <br /> <br />Acosta, Bricken, Griset, Luxembourger, <br />Markel, McGuigan, Serrato <br />None <br />None <br /> <br /> /MAYOR <br /> <br /> <br />
