NS-1591 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />APPROVING AMENDMENT APPLICATION <br />NO. 854 TO REZONE PROPERTY LOCATED <br />ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF FIFTH STREET <br />EASTERLY OF ROSS STREET EXTENDING <br />SOUTHERLY TO FOURTH STREET FROM THE <br />C3-HD II (CENTRAL BUSINESS, HEIGHT <br />DISTRICT II) DISTRICT TO THE CD-HD II <br />(CIVIC DEVELOPMENT, HEIGHT DISTRICT II) <br />DISTRICT AND AMENDING SECTIONAL MAP <br />NO. 12-5-10. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the real property located on the south <br />side of Fifth Street easterly of Ross Street extending <br />southerly to Fourth Street and more particularly described <br />infra, is located within the C3-HD II (Central Business, <br />Height District II) District, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Amendment Application No. 854 has been <br />filed to amend Sectional District Map No. 12-5-10 to rezone <br />such real property to the CD-HD II (Civic Development, <br />Height District II) District, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice <br />of and duly held a public hearing on said Amendment <br />Application and has recommended approval thereof, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public <br />hearing on the said Amendment Application on published <br />notice required by law and does now find that the public <br />necessity, convenience, and general welfare require that the <br />said property be reclassified as requested in the said <br />Amendment Application, and that the new classification will <br />not be detrimental to the surrounding property, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, prior to taking this action, the City <br />Council has reviewed and considered the information <br />contained in Negative Declaration (I.S. No. 81-57), and, on <br />the basis thereof, finds that the project will not have a <br />significant effect on the environment; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />SANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN that the real property situated in the <br />City of Santa Ana, County of Orange, State of California, <br />generally located on the south side of Fifth Street easterly <br />of Ross Street extending southerly to Fourth Street, and <br />more particularly described in Exhibit A, attached hereto <br />and incorporated herein as though fully set forth, is hereby <br />reclassified from the C3-HD II (Central Business, Height <br />District II) District to the CD-HD II (Civic Development, <br />Height District II) District, and that Sectional District <br />Map No. 12-5-10 is hereby amended to show said <br />reclassification in accordance with Exhibit A.A. 854-A. <br /> <br /> ADOPTED this 20th day of <br />1981, by the following vote: <br /> <br />AYES: <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBERS: <br /> <br />NOES: <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBERS: <br /> <br />ABSENT: COUNCILMEMBERS: <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />APPROVED AS TO F~M: <br /> <br />EDWARD J.
