REL:adg <br />8/25/81 <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. NS- 1600 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA REZONING PROPERTY IN THE <br />"FRENCH PARK HISTORIC DISTRICT" FROM THE <br />P (PROFESSIONAL) AND R3H (HIGH DENSITY- <br />MULTIPLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL) DISTRICTS TO <br />THE P-SD AND R3H-SD (SPECIFIC DEVELOPMENT <br />SUFFIX) DISTRICTS, AND AMENDING SECTIONAL <br />DISTRICT MAP 7-5-9 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the real property in that area of the <br />City of Santa Ana known as the "French Park Historic <br />District, and more specifically described in Exhibit A, <br />attached hereto and incorporated herein, is presently <br />located partly in the P (Professional) and R3H (High Density- <br />Multiple Family Residential) Use Districts; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Amendment Application No. 858 has been <br />filed to rezone such real property by adding the SD <br />(Specific Development) Suffix to the abovesaid Use District <br />designations; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice <br />of and duly held a public hearing on said Amendment <br />Application and has recommended approval thereof, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public <br />hearing on the said Amendment Application on published <br />notice required by law and does now find that the public <br />necessity, convenience, and general welfare require that the <br />said property be reclassified as requested in the said <br />Amendment Application, and that the new classification will <br />not be deterimental to the surrounding property, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, prior to taking this action, the City <br />Council has reviewed and considered the information <br />contained in Negative Declaration, I.S. No. 81-101; and, on <br />the basis thereof, finds that the project will not have a <br />significant effect on the environment; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />SANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. That the real property in the abovesaid <br />"French Park Historical District" which is currently <br />designated P (Professional) is hereby reclassified to the P- <br />SD (Professional-Specific Development) Use District. <br /> <br /> 2. That the real property in the abovesaid <br />"French Park Historical District" which is currently <br />designated R3H (High Density-Multiple Family Residential) <br />hereby reclassified to the R3H-SD (High Density-Multiple <br />Family Residential - Specific Development) Use District. <br /> <br /> <br />
