NS-1604 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />APPROVING AMENDMENT APPLICATION <br />NO. 860 TO REZONE PROPERTY LOCATED <br />ON THE NORTHWEST CORNER OF STANDARD <br />AND OCCIDENTAL STREETS FROM THE C1 <br />(COMMUNITY COMMERCIAL) DISTRICT TO THE <br />C2 (GENERAL COMMERCIAL) DISTRICT AND <br />AMENDING SECTIONAL MAP NO. 19-5-9. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the real property located on the <br />northwest corner of Standard and Occidental Streets and more <br />particularly described infra, is located within the C1 <br />(Community Commercial) District, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Amendment Application No. 860 has been <br />filed to amend Sectional District Map No. 19-5-9 to rezone <br />such real property to the C2 (General Commercial District, <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice <br />and duly held a public hearing on said Amendment Application <br />and has recommended approval thereof, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public <br />hearing on the said Amendment Application on published <br />notice required by law and does now find that the public <br />necessity, convenience, and general welfare require that the <br />said property be reclassified as requested in the said <br />Amendment Application, and that the new classification will <br />not be detrimental to the surrounding property, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, prior to taking this action the City <br />Council has reviewed and considered the information <br />contained in Negative Declaration (I.S. NO. 81-111), and, on <br />the basis thereof, finds that the project will not have a <br />significant effect on the environment; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />SANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN that the real property situated in the <br />City of Santa Ana, County of Orange, State of California, <br />generally located on the northwest corner of Standard and <br />Occidental Streets, and more particularly described in <br />Exhibit A, attached hereto and incorporated herein as though <br />fully set forth, is hereby reclassified from the C1 <br />(Community Commercial) District to the C2 (General <br />Commercial) District, and that Sectional District Map No. 19- <br />5-9 is hereby amended to show said reclassification in <br />accordance with Exhibit A.A. 860-A. <br /> <br /> ADOPTED this 26th day of October , 1981, by the <br />following vote: <br /> <br />AYES: <br /> <br />NOES: <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBERS: Bricken, Griset, Luxemb0urger, <br /> Markel, McGuigan <br />COUNCILMEMBERS: None <br /> <br />ABSENT: <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBERS: Acosta, Serrat0 <br /> <br />EDWARD J.
