NS- 1611 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />TO APPROVE AMENDMENT APPLICATION NO. 865 <br />TO REZONE PROPERTY LOCATED ON THE SOUTH- <br />EAST CORNER OF WRIGHT AND PALM STREETS FRCM <br />THE R2 (MULTIPLE--FAMILY RESIDENCE DISTRICT <br />TO THE P (PROFESSIONAL) DISTRICT AND <br />AMENDING SECTIONAL MAP NO. 8-5-9. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the real property located on the <br />southeast corner of Wright and Palm Streets, and more <br />particularly described infra, is located within the R2 <br />(Multiple-Family Residence) District; <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Amendment Application No. 865 has been <br />filed to amend Sectional District Map No. 8-5-9 to rezone <br />such real property to the P (Professional) District, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice <br />of and duly held a public hearing on said Amendment <br />Application and has recommended approval thereof, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public <br />hearing on the said Amendment Application on published <br />notice required by law and does now find that the public <br />necessity, convenience, and general welfare require that the <br />said property be reclassified as requested in the said <br />Amendment Application, and that the new classification will <br />not be detrimental to the surrounding property, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, prior to taking this action, the City <br />Council has reviewed and considered the information <br />contained in Negative Declaration, I.S. No. 81-145, and, on <br />the basis thereof, finds that the project will not have a <br />significant effect on the environment; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />SANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN that the real property situated in the <br />City of Santa Ana, County of Orange, State of California, <br />generally located on the southeast corner of Wright and Palm <br />Streets, and more particularly described as the north 88 <br />feet of lots 2 and 4, plus the north 88 feet of the westerly <br />25 feet of lot 6, Block A, Gardner Villa Tract, as shown on <br />a map recorded in Book 13, Page 97, of Miscellaneous Records <br />of Los Angeles County, is hereby reclassified from the R2 <br />(Multiple-Family Residence) District to the P (Professional) <br />District and that Sectional District Map No. 8-5-9 is hereby <br />amended to show said reclassification in accordance with <br />Exhibit A.A. 865-A. <br /> <br /> ADOPTED this 16th day of N0¥ember , 1981, <br />by the following vote: <br /> <br />AYES: <br /> <br />NOES: <br /> <br />COUNC I LMEMBERS: Acosta, Bri cken, Gri set, Luxembourger, <br /> Markel, McGuigan, Serrato <br />COUNC I L~EMBERS: None <br /> <br /> ABSENT: <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />COUNC I LMEMBERS: None <br /> <br /> GORDON~RIC KEN, MAYOR <br /> <br />CITY ATTORNEY <br /> <br /> <br />
