NS- 1612 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />AMENDING SECTION 2-300 OF THE SANTA ANA <br />MUNICIPAL CODE, AND ADDING SECTION <br />2-300.5 THERETO, TO REVISE THE LIST OF <br />OFFICERS OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AND <br />CHANGE THE TITLES OF CERTAIN OFFICERS <br /> <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES <br />ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />SECTION 1: That Section 2-300 of the Santa Ana Municipal <br />Code is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />Sec. 2-300. <br /> <br />City officers and <br />department heads. <br /> <br /> (a) The following are officers of the City of <br />Santa Ana: <br /> <br />(1) Members of the City Council <br />(2) City Manager <br />(3) City Attorney <br />(4) Clerk of the Council <br />(5) Assistant City Managers <br />(6) The heads of the departments of <br /> the City, as specified in subsection <br /> (b) of this section. <br /> <br /> (b) The following are the heads of the <br />departments of the City: <br /> <br />(1) Police Chief <br />(2) Fire Chief <br />(3) Director of Finance <br />(4) Director of Public Works <br />(5) Director of Recreation, Parks, <br /> and Community Services <br />(6) Director of Personnel <br />(7) Library Director <br />(8) Museum Director <br />(9) Director of Planning and <br /> Development Services <br />(10) Director of Community Development <br />(11) Director of Transportation <br />(12) Director of Housing <br /> <br />SECTION 2: That the Santa Ana Municipal Code is hereby <br />amended by adding a sectio~ to be numbered 2-300.5, which <br />said section reads as follows: <br /> <br />Sec. 2-300.5. <br /> <br />Director of Planning <br />and Development Services. <br /> <br /> The Director of Planning and Development Services <br />shall assume the powers, duties, and responsibilities <br />conferred by this Code, and by all resolutions, agreements, <br />regulations, authorizations, and directives of the City <br />Council, the City Manager, and any board or commission of <br />the City of Santa Ana, and by established administrative <br />practice, upon the previously existing offices of Director <br />of Planning and Director of Building Safety.
