NS-]626 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />AMENDING SECTION 10-250 OF THE SANTA <br />ANA MUNICIPAL CODE, PERTAINING TO THE <br />SPECIAL ENFORCEMENT SERVICES FUND <br /> <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> SECTION 1: That Section 10-250 of the Santa Ana <br />Municipal Code is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />SECTION 10-250. <br /> <br />Establishment <br /> <br /> The Director of Finance shall maintain as a separate <br />fund a special enforcement services fund, consisting of such <br />amounts derived from the general fund revenues of the City <br />as the City Council shall from time to time determine. <br />Withdrawals from such fund shall be by police department <br />personnel pursuant to the regulations set forth in this <br />article and shall be made for the purpose of investigating <br />such narcotics law violations, property thefts, or other <br />crimes as have been approved by the Chief of Police for <br />investigation by the special investigations section. <br /> <br /> SECTION 2: If any section, subsection, sentence, <br />clause, phrase or portion of this ordinance is for any <br />reason held to be invalid or unconstitutional by the <br />decision of any court of competent jurisdiction, such <br />decision shall not affect the validity of the remaining <br />portions of this ordinance.
