REL:adg <br />3/22/82 <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. NS-1627 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />APPROVING AMENDMENT APPLICATION <br />NO. 864 TO REZONE PROPERTY LOCATED <br />AT 622 AND 630 SOUTH EUCLID STREET <br />FROM THE R1 (SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENCE) <br />DISTRICT TO THE C1-SD (COMMUNITY <br />COMMERCIAL - SPECIFIC DEVELOPMENT) <br />DISTRICT AND AMENDING SECTIONAL MAP <br />NO. 17-5-10. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the real property located at 622 and 630 <br />South Euclid Street and more particularly described infra, <br />is located within the R1 (Single Family Residence) District, <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Amendment Application No. 864 has been <br />filed to amend Sectional District Map No. 17-5-10 to rezone <br />such real property to the C5 (Arterial Commercial) District, <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice <br />of and duly held a public hearing on saw Amendment <br />Application and has recommended that said real property be <br />rezoned to the C1-SD (Community Commercial - Specific <br />Development) District, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public <br />hearing on the said Amendment Application on published <br />notice required by law and does now find that the public <br />necessity, convenience, and general welfare require that the <br />said property be reclassified as reccmmended by the Planning <br />Commission, and that the new classification will not be <br />detrimental to the surrounding property, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, prior to taking this action the City <br />Council has reviewed and considered the information <br />contained in Negative Declaration (I.S.
