NS-1674 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />AMENDING SECTIONS 34-313, 41-66, 41-591, <br />41-617, 41-617(a), 41-617(b), 41-617(i), <br />41-617(m), 41-617(n), 41-617(w), AND <br />41-618 OF THE SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE <br />AND ADDING SECTIONS 41-613.2, 41-617(kk), <br />41-617(11), 41-617(mm), 41-623, AND 41-688 <br />THERETO, TO REVISE THE OFF-STREET PARKING <br />REQUIREMENTS OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA. <br /> <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES <br />ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />SECTION 1: That section 34-313 of the Santa Ana <br />Municipal Code is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />Sec. 34-313. Specific requirements for the <br /> approval of tentative maps. <br /> <br /> No tentative map shall be approved unless the project <br />complies with the following requirements, unless a waiver is <br />first obtained pursuant to Division 5: <br /> <br />(a) <br /> <br />Ail common ownership projects, including con- <br />version projects, must provide off-street <br />parking spaces in accordance with the standards <br />established in Chapter 41 of this Code. <br /> <br />(b) <br /> <br />In addition to clothes, linen and food <br />pantry closets and shelving customarily <br />provided, each unit within the project <br />shall have at least eighty (80) cubic feet <br />of enclosed, weatherproof and lockable <br />private storage space at a single location. <br /> <br />(c) <br /> <br />If the storage of boats, trailers, recrea- <br />tional vehicles and similar vehicles is to <br />be permitted within the complex, an area <br />shall be specifically designated for such <br />storage and shall be screened from adjacent <br />areas by a combination of a six-foot masonry <br />wall and appropriate landscaping. <br /> <br />(d) Exposed television antennas for individual <br /> dwelling units shall not be permitted. <br /> <br /> <br />
