NS-16?4 <br />PAGE TWELVE <br /> <br />SECTION 16: That the Santa Ana Municipal Code is amended <br />by adding a section, to be numbered 41-623, which said <br />section reads as follows: <br /> <br />Sec. 41-623. Trash bin enclosures. <br /> <br />(a) <br /> <br />One trash bin enclosure shall be provided <br />for each commercial or industrial establish- <br />ment and for each residential building con- <br />sisting of three or more dwelling units; <br />except that for commercial or industrial <br />establishments sharing vehicular access and <br />parking in an integrated development, one <br />shared trash bin enclosure may be provided <br />for each group of four or less such establish- <br />ments, provided that any such shared trash bin <br />enclosure shall be maintained as freely <br />accessible to all establishments originally <br />assigned to share in its use. <br /> <br />(b) <br /> <br />The Director of Planning and Development <br />Services shall issue standards for the con- <br />struction of trash bin enclosures required <br />by this section, and maintain such standards <br />on file in the Department of Planning and <br />Development Services. All trash bin en- <br />closures required by this section shall be <br />constructed and maintained in accordance <br />with such standards. <br /> <br />SECTION 17: That the Santa Ana Municipal Code is amended <br />by adding a section, to be numbered 41-688, which said <br />section reads as follows:- <br /> <br />Sec. 41-688. Noncompliance with off-street <br /> parking regulations. <br /> <br />(a) <br /> <br />No addition or structural alteration shall <br />be made to any building unless the use of such <br />building will be in compliance with the off- <br />street parking requirements of this chapter <br />upon completion of such addition or alteration. <br /> <br />(b) <br /> <br />Subsection (a) of this section shall not apply <br />to patio cover additions to one-family, two- <br />family, or three-family dwellings, nor to <br />alterations to such dwellings if the cost of <br />such alterations does not exceed fifty percent <br />(50%) of the value of the existing building. <br /> <br /> <br />
