NS- 1698 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />AMENDING SECTIONS 34-105 AND 34-176 OF <br />THE SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE AND ADDING <br />SECTION 34-134 THERETO, TO AUTHORIZE <br />THE DIRECTOR OF PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT <br />SERVICES TO EXTEND THE EXPIRATION DATE <br />OF TENTATIVE SUBDIVISION MAPS. <br /> <br />SECTION 1: That section 34-105 of the Santa Ana <br />Municipal Code is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />Sec. 34-105. Parcel map. <br /> <br /> Parcel maps shall be processed by the city <br />engineer and the director of planning and submitted to the <br />city council for approval in the same manner as final maps. <br />No parcel map shall be approved if it fails to conform to a <br />previously approved and unexpired tentative map. <br /> <br />SECTION 22 That the Santa Ana Municipal <br />amended by adding a section, to be numbered <br />said section reads as follows: <br /> <br />Code is hereby <br />34-134, which <br /> <br />Sec. 34-134 Extension of expiration date. <br /> <br /> Any application for an extension of the expiration <br />date of a tentative map shall be filed with the director of <br />planning and development services on such forms as may be <br />provided by him for such purposes. The director may grant <br />or deny such extension. In granting any extension, the <br />director may require compliance with additional conditions <br />or requirements to the same extent as if a new tentative map <br />had been filed, provided, however, in such event the <br />extension shall be sumbitted to the city council and the <br />additional conditions or requirements shall be subject to <br />appeal by the subdivider in the same manner as a tentative <br />map under sections 34-128 through 34-133 of this chapter. <br /> <br />SECTION 3: That section 34-176 of the Santa Ana <br />Municipal Code is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br /> <br />
