REL:adg <br />11/9/83 <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. NS- 1707 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AMENDING <br />ORDINANCES NO. NS-1674 AND NO. NS-1675 TO ALLOW <br />CERTAIN DEVELOPMENT FOR WHICH PLANS HAD BEEN <br />APPROVED PRIOR TO THE ADOPTION OF SAID ORDINANCES <br /> <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />SECTION 1: Ordinance No. NS-1674, adopted by this Council on <br />March 21, 1983 is hereby amended by adding a section thereto, to <br />be numbered 20, which said section reads as follows: <br /> <br />"SECTION 20: Section 41-617(mm) of the Santa Ana <br />Municipal Code, as added by Section 14 of this Ordinance <br />No. NS-1674, shall not prevent the development and use <br />of property in accordance with the off-street parking <br />requirements of the Santa Ana Municipal Code as they <br />existed prior to the effective date of this Ordinance <br />No. NS-1674 if building permit application plans for such <br />development have been approved by the Department of Plan- <br />ning and Development Services prior to the date of adoption <br />of this Ordinance No. NS-1674. Any such development <br />and use of property in non-compliance with said Section <br />41-617(mm) shall be deemed a legal non-conforming use <br />under the zoning ordinances of the City of Santa Ana." <br /> <br />SECTION 2~ Ordinance No. NS-1675, adopted by this Council on <br />March 21, 1983, is hereby amended by adding a section, to be <br />numbered 4, which said section reads as follows: <br /> <br />"SECTION 4: The C5 (Arterial Commercial) use dis- <br />trict regulations, as made applicable to certain real <br />property in the City of Santa Ana by Section 1 of this <br />Ordinance No. NS-1675, shall not prevent the develop- <br />ment and use of property in accordance wih the C2 <br />(General Commercial) use district regulations as they <br />existed and applied to such property prior to the <br />effective date of this Ordinance No. NS-1675 if build- <br />lng permit application plans for such development have <br />been approved by the Department Services prior to <br />the date of adoption of this Ordinance No. NS-1675. <br /> <br /> <br />
