ORDINANCE NO. NS-1721 <br />PAGE TWENTY-TWO <br /> <br />Sec. 41-1010. Special event signs or displays. <br /> <br /> (a) No person shall install or maintain, or allow to <br />be installed or maintained on property occupied by such <br />person, any special event sign or display, except in accord- <br />ance with the following requirements; <br /> <br /> (1) The special event sign or display must be <br />installed and maintained in accordance with a permit issued <br />by the zoning administrator. <br /> <br /> (2) The special event sign or display shall not <br />be maintained for more than 14 successive days. <br /> <br /> (3) No more than one special event sign or dis- <br />play shall be installed on a site for the benefit of any one <br />activity on such site in any given six-month period. <br /> <br /> (b) The zoning administrator may deny a permit for <br />a special event sign or display if it would be detrimental <br />to the area surrounding the site, or may impose condi- <br />tions or limitations on the permit which will avoid or <br />mitigate such detrimental effects. <br /> <br /> (c) In granting a permit for a special event sign <br />or display, the zoninG administrator may waive any of <br />the provisions of this Article which would otherwise <br />limit or prohibit such sign or display. <br /> <br /> <br />
