ORDINANCE NO. NS-1726 <br />PAGE SIX <br /> <br />SECTION 13: That Section 41-280 of the Santa Ana Municipal <br />Code is amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />Sec. 41-280. Rear yard. <br /> <br /> There shall be a rear yard of not less than ten <br />(10) feet, plus an additional one-half of one foot for <br />each foot by which the building's height exceeds <br />thirty (30) feet. <br /> <br />SECTION 14: That Section 41-281 of the Santa Ana Municipal <br />Code is amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />Sec. 41-281. Off-street parking. <br /> <br /> Off-street parking shall be provided in the manner <br />prescribed in Article IV of this Chapter. A front yard <br />or street-oriented side yard may be used for parking <br />only if such yard is fully landscaped for the entire <br />depth of the minimum required yard measured from the <br />street. <br /> <br />SECTION 15: That Section 41-282 of the Santa Ana Municipal <br />Code is amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />Sec. 41-282. Usable open space. <br /> <br />There shall be a minimum of: <br /> <br />(a) <br /> <br />Two hundred (200) square feet of usable <br />open space for each dwelling unit, either <br />as private usable open space or a combin- <br />ation of private and common usable open <br />space. The minimum front yard and street- <br />oriented side yard, and all walkways, drive- <br />ways, and open or enclosed parking areas <br />shall not be considered open space in the <br />fulfillment of this requirement. <br /> <br />(b) <br /> <br />Ail dwelling units shall have private usable <br />open areas with the following minimum dimen- <br />sions and area: <br /> <br /> <br />
