EJC .' adg <br />9/6/85 <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. NS-1800 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA SETTING 12:00 P.M. ON <br />THE 1ST AND 3RD MONDAYS AT SANTA ANA <br />CITY HALL AS THE TIME AND PLACE OF <br />MEETINGS OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />SECTION 1: That Section 2-100 of the Santa Ana Municipal Code, <br />is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />Sec. 2-100. Council meetings, time and place. <br /> <br /> Regular meetings of the city council shall be <br />held at the hour of 12:00 p.m. on the first and third <br />Mondays of each month. At a time determined by the <br />council, said Monday meetings shall be recessed until <br />7:30 p.m. of the same day, at which hour the council <br />shall reconvene. <br /> <br /> Council meetings shall be convened on the eighth <br />floor of the City Hall, Santa Ana, California, and all <br />meetings shall be opened therein, and thereafter convened <br />in the council chambers in city hall, but may adjourn to <br />such other place or places as the council may order. If, <br />by reason of damage, repair, or alteration of the structure, <br />or other emergency, said place is determined to be unsafe, <br />meetings may be held for the duration of the emergency at <br />such place as may be determined by the mayor or four <br />members of the council. <br /> <br />SECTION 2: If any section, subsection, sentence, clause, <br />phrase or portion of this Ordinance is for any reason held to <br />be invalid or unconstitutional by the decision of any court or <br />competent jurisdiction, such decision shall not affect the <br />validity of the remaining portions of this Ordinance. The City <br />Council of the City of Santa Ana hereby declares that it would <br />have adopted this Ordinance and each section, subsection, <br />sentence, clause, phrase or portion thereof irrespective of the <br />fact that any one or more sections, subsections, sentences, <br />clauses, phrases, or portions be declared invalid or unconsti- <br />tutional. <br /> <br /> <br />
