NS-1827 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA ADOPTING <br />SPECIFIC PLAN FOR STREET ALIGNMENT NO. 50 AND <br />ADDING SECTION 41-749 TO THE SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL <br />CODE TO ESTABLISH STREET ALIGNMENT FOR CIVIC <br />CENTER DRIVE FROM 200' EAST OF GARFIELD STREET <br />TO CONNECT TO SANTA ANA BOULEVARD 386' EAST OF <br />SANTIAGO STREET <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, after public hearing on due notice, the Santa <br />Ana Planning Commission has recommended the adoption of Specific <br />Plan of Street Alignment No. 50, which establishes the alignment <br />of a portion of Civic Center Drive; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, after hearing before the City Council on <br />notice as required by law, this Council has determined that the <br />alignment of Civic Center Drive from a point 200' East of <br />Garfield Street to connect with Santa Ana Boulevard 386' East <br />of Santiago Street should be established in accordance with the <br />said Specific Plan of Street Alignment No. 50 in order to promote <br />the public safety and welfare; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, prior to taking this action, the City Council <br />has reviewed and considered the information contained in the Ini- <br />tial study for the project and has approved a Negative Declaration <br />for this project based thereon. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA <br />ANA DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> Section 1: That Specific Plan of Street Alignment <br />No. 50 is hereby adopted by the City Council as the street align- <br />ment for Civic Center Drive from 200' East of Garfield Street to <br />connect to Santa Ana Boulevard 386' East of Santiago Street. <br /> <br /> Section 2: That the Santa Ana Municipal Code is hereby <br />amended by adding a section, to be numbered Section 41-749 which <br />said section reads as follows: <br /> <br /> <br />
