NS- 1828 <br /> <br />AN oRDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />AMENDING SECTION 34-57 OF THE SANTA <br />ANA MUNICIPAL CODE TO EXCEPT PROPERTY <br />IN THE SD (SPECIFIC DEVELOPMENT) <br />DISTRICT FROM THE MINIMUM LOT SIZE <br />RESTRICTION IN THE SUBDIVISION <br />REGULATIONS <br /> <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />SECTION 1: That Section 34-57 of the Santa Ana Municipal <br />Code is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />Sec. 34-57. Districting for minimum lot sizes. <br /> <br /> The city is divided into minimum lot area districts: <br />Class I, Class II and Class III as shown on a map entitled "Dis- <br />tricting Map for Minimum Lot Area Requirements," such districts <br />having the following regulations: <br /> <br /> (1) The minimum area of a residential <br />lot in minimum lot area district Class I as <br />shown on said map shall be not less than six <br />thousand (6,000) square feet and the minimum <br />width of such lot at the official set-back <br />line shall be not less than fifty (50'). <br />Waiver of the provisions of this subsection <br />may be granted as provided for in section <br />41-591(o) PRD or in a Specific Development <br />Plan approved for property in an SD <br />(Specific Development) District. <br /> <br /> (2) The minimum area of a residential <br />lot in minimum lot area district Class II <br />as shown on said map shall be not less than <br />seventy-two hundred (7200) square feet, and <br />a minimum width of such lot at the official <br />set-back line shall be not less than sixty <br />feet (60); <br /> <br /> (3) The minimum area of a residential <br />lot in minimum lot area district Class III <br />as shown on said map shall be not less than <br />nine thousand (9,000) square feet, and the <br />minimum width of such lot at the official <br />set-back line shall be not less than seventy- <br />five feet (75'). <br /> <br /> <br />
