NS-I~2 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AMENDING SECTION 41-94 THE SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING DEFINITION OF KENNELS. THE CITY FOLLOWS: OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN AS Section 1: Section 41-94 of the Santa Ana Municipal Code is hereby amended read as follows: Sec. 41-94. A kennel is any lot, ing, structure, enclosure, permise or place, whereon or n, three (3) or more dogs or four (4) or more cats are kept maintained for the purpose of breeding, training, raisin¢ g or as pets. Section 2: If any section, bsection, sentence, clause, phrase or portion of this ordinance for any reason held to be invalid or unconstitutional by the of any court of competent jurisdiction, such decision ~11 not affect the validity of the remaining portions of ordinance. The City Council hereby declares that it would mdopted this ordinance and each section, subsection, sentence, ~e, phrase or portion thereof irrespective of the fact that any _xor more sections, subsections, s~ntences, clauses, phrases or portions thereof be declared invalid or unconstitutional. ~ Section 3: Neither the adoption of this o~inance nor the repe~of any ordinance shall.in any ma~e~fect the prosecution for violation of the ordinances, which v~olations were committed prior to the effective date hereof, nor be ~onstrued as affecting any of the provisions of such ordinance rela~ng to the collection of any such license or penalty or the penal t~ovisions applicable to any cash deposit pursuant to any ordinance ~nd all rights and obligations thereunder appertaining shall continue in full force and effect. ~ ADOPTED this day of ____, 1986. ~ DANIEL E.
