NS- 1869 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />AMENDING SECTION 41-617(a) OF THE SANTA <br />ANA MUNICIPAL CODE TO REVISE THE OFF- <br />STREET PARKING REQUIREMENTS FOR DUPLEXES <br />AND TRIPLEXES <br /> <br />SECTION 1: That Section 41-617(a) of the Santa Ana Municipal <br />Code is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />Sec. 41-617(a) One-family, two-family and <br /> three-family dwellings <br /> <br /> A minimum of two (2) parking spaces, located within a <br />fully enclosed garage, shall be provided for each dwelling unit <br />in a one-family, two-family or three-family dwelling. Additional <br />parking spaces, which may be either open or enclosed and which <br />may be located as tandem spaces providing access to such garage, <br />shall be provided for such dwellings as follows: <br /> <br /> Each one-family dwelling shall have at least.two (2) <br />such additional spaces. <br /> <br /> Each two-family or three-family dwelling shall have <br />at least one (1) such additional space for each dwelling unit <br />which contains three (3) or more bedrooms. <br /> <br /> Each two-family or three-family dwelling shall have <br />at least one-half of one (0.5) such space for each dwelling unit <br />which contains less than three (3) bedr0cms. <br /> <br />SECTION 2: If any section, subsection, sentence, clause, <br />phrase or portion of this ordinance is for any reason held to <br />be invalid or unconstitutional by the decision of any court <br />or competent jurisdiction, such decision shall not affect the <br />validity of the remaining portions of this ordinance. The City <br />Council of the City of Santa Ana hereby declares that it would <br />have adopted this ordinance and each section, subsection, <br />sentence, clause, phrase or portion thereof irrespective of the <br />fact that any one or more sections, subsections, sentences, <br />clauses, phrases, or portions be declared invalid or uncon- <br />stitutional. <br /> <br /> <br />
