REL: adg-4 8/25/86 ORDINANCE NO. NS- 1869 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AMENDING SECTION 41-617(a) OF THE SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE TO REVISE THE OFF- STREET PARKING REQUIREMENTS FOR DUPLEXES AND TRIPLEXES SECTION 1: That Section 41-617(a) of the Santa Ana Municipal Code is hereby amended to read as follows: Sec. 41-617(a) One-family, two-family and three-family dwellings A minimum of two (2) parking spaces, located within a fully enclosed garage, shall be provided for each dwelling unit in a one-family, two-family or three-family dwelling. Additional parking spaces, which may be either open or enclosed and which may be located as tandem spaces providing access to such garage, shall be provided for such dwellings as follows: Each one-family dwelling shall have at least.two (2) such additional spaces. Each two-family or three-family dwelling shall have at least one (1) such additional space for each dwelling unit which contains three (3) or more bedrooms. Each two-family or three-family dwelling shall have at least one-half of one (0.5) such space for each dwelling unit which contains less than three (3) bedr0cms. SECTION 2: If any section, subsection, sentence, clause, phrase or portion of this ordinance is for any reason held to be invalid or unconstitutional by the decision of any court or competent jurisdiction, such decision shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions of this ordinance. The City Council of the City of Santa Ana hereby declares that it would have adopted this ordinance and each section, subsection, sentence, clause, phrase or portion thereof irrespective of the fact that any one or more sections, subsections, sentences, clauses, phrases, or portions be declared invalid or uncon- stitutional.
