NS- 1885 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AMENDING THE SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE BY CHANGING THE TIME AND PLACE FOR CITY COUNCIL MEETINGS, SETTING FORTH CER- TAIN AGENDA REQUIREMENTS, AND DELETING THE DOWNTOWN DEVELOPMENT COMMISSION THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1: That Section 2-100 of the Santa Ana Municipal Code, is hereby amended to read as follows: Sec. 2-100. Council meetings, time and place. Regular meetings of the city council shall be held at the hour of 2:00 p.m. on the first and third Mondays of each month. At a time determined by the council, said Monday meetings shall be recessed until 7:30 p.m. of the same day, at which hour the council shall reconvene. Council meetings shall be convened on the fourth floor of the city hall, Santa Ana, California, and all meetings shall be opened therein, and thereafter convened in the council chambers in city hall, but may adjourn to such other place or places as the council may order. If, by reason of damage, repair, or alteration of the structure, or other emergency, said place is determined to be unsafe, meetings may be held for the duration of the emergency at such place as may be determined by the mayor or four (4) members of the council. SECTION 2: That Section 2-102 of the Santa Ana Municipal Code, is hereby amended to read as follows: Sec. 2-102. Agenda. The clerk of the council shall prepare an agenda for each regular meeting of the council containing all items known by such officer to be considered by the council. The order of placing items on the agenda shall be as directed by the council.
