NS- 1885 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AMENDING THE <br />SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE BY CHANGING THE TIME AND <br />PLACE FOR CITY COUNCIL MEETINGS, SETTING FORTH CER- <br />TAIN AGENDA REQUIREMENTS, AND DELETING THE DOWNTOWN <br />DEVELOPMENT COMMISSION <br /> <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> SECTION 1: That Section 2-100 of the Santa Ana Municipal <br />Code, is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />Sec. 2-100. Council meetings, time and place. <br /> <br /> Regular meetings of the city council <br />shall be held at the hour of 2:00 p.m. on <br />the first and third Mondays of each month. <br />At a time determined by the council, said <br />Monday meetings shall be recessed until <br />7:30 p.m. of the same day, at which hour the <br />council shall reconvene. <br /> <br /> Council meetings shall be convened on <br />the fourth floor of the city hall, Santa Ana, <br />California, and all meetings shall be opened <br />therein, and thereafter convened in the council <br />chambers in city hall, but may adjourn to such <br />other place or places as the council may order. <br />If, by reason of damage, repair, or alteration <br />of the structure, or other emergency, said <br />place is determined to be unsafe, meetings may <br />be held for the duration of the emergency at <br />such place as may be determined by the mayor <br />or four (4) members of the council. <br /> <br /> SECTION 2: That Section 2-102 of the Santa Ana Municipal <br />Code, is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />Sec. 2-102. Agenda. <br /> <br /> The clerk of the council shall prepare an <br />agenda for each regular meeting of the council <br />containing all items known by such officer to <br />be considered by the council. The order of <br />placing items on the agenda shall be as directed <br />by the council. <br /> <br /> <br />
