NS- 1926 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br />THE CITY OF SANTA ANA ADDING SECTIONS 21-111 <br />AND 21-120o TO THE SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE, <br />RELATING TO THE BUSINESS LICENSE TAX ON THE <br />BUSINESS OF OFF-PREMISE COMMERCIAL ADVERTISING <br />SIGNS. <br /> <br /> 'i/4E CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> SECTION 1: That the Santa Aha Municipal Code, is hereby <br />amended by adding a section, to be numbered 21-111, which said <br />section reads as follows: <br /> <br />Sec. 21-111. <br /> <br />Off-premise commercial advertising signs; erecting <br />of, maintaining of, selling of advertising space <br />there for. <br /> <br /> Any person engaged in transacting and carrying on the business <br />of erecting, maintaining and selling of advertising space on off- <br />premise commercial advertising signs shall pay a license tax <br />therefo~ per.sign face located in the city. For sign faces with <br />gross d zmenslons equal to or less than three hundred (300) square <br />feet said tax shall be at the rate of seventy-five dollars <br />($75.00) per sign face. For sign faces with gross dimensions in <br />excess of three hundred (300) square feet said tax shall be at <br />the rate of one hundred dollars ($100.00) per sign face. <br /> <br />SECTION 2: That the Santa Aha Municipal Code, is hereby amended <br />by adding a section, to be numbered 21-120o, which said section <br />reads as follows: <br /> <br />Sec. 21-120o. Off-premise commercial advertising signs. <br /> <br />OFF-PREMISE COMMERCIAL ADVERTISING SIGNS: <br /> <br />(1) Sign faces with gross dimensions equal to or less than <br /> three hundred (300) square feet, per sign face $75.00 A <br /> <br />(2) Sign faces with gross dimensions in excess of three hundred <br /> (300) square feet, per sign face $100.00 A <br /> <br />- 1 - <br /> <br /> <br />
