NS- 1950 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA REZONING CERTAIN PROPERTY ON OR NEAR GRAND AVENUE NORTH OF THE SANTA ANA FREEWAY TO THE C5 (ARTERIAL COMMERCIAL) AND R1 (SINGLE-FAMILY RESIDENCE) USE DISTRICTS WHEREAS, Amendment Application No. 997 has been filed to make certain changes in the zoning district desig- nations of certain real property, as hereinafter set forth; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission after duly noticed public hearing, has recommended approval of the changes in use district designations as proposed in said Amendment Application; and WHEREAS, this Council, prior to adopting this ordi- nance, has reviewed the initial environmental study prepared for this project, and has approved the Negative Declaration for this project based thereon; and WHEREAS, this Council, after duly noticed public hearing has determined that the changes in use district desig- nations proposed in the abovesaid Amendment Application are justified by the public necessity, convenience and general welfare; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: 1. Those parcels of real property designated in Exhibit A, attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, are hereby reclassified from the R2 (Two-Family Residence) District to the C5 (Arterial Commercial) District. 2. Those portions of parcels of real property designated in Exhibit B, attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference are hereby reclassified from the R2 (Two-Family Residence) District to the R1 (Single-Family Residence) District. 3. That portion of a parcel of real property designated in Exhibit C, attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, is hereby reclassified from the R1 (Single-Family Residence) District to the C5 (Arterial Commercial) District.
