NS-2023 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br />THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AMENDING SEC- <br />TION 2-100 OF THE SANTA ANA MUNICI- <br />PAL CODE TO CHANGE COUNCIL MEETING <br />TIME FROM 7:00 P.M. TO 7:30 P.M. <br /> <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />SECTION 1: That section 2-100 of the Santa Ana Municipal Code <br />is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />Sec. 2-100. Council meetings, time and place. <br /> <br /> Regular meetings of the city council shall be held at <br />the hour of 4:00 p.m. on the first and third Mondays of <br />each month. At a time determined by the council, said <br />Monday meetings shall be recessed until 7:30 p.m. of the <br />same day, at which hour the council shall reconvene. <br /> <br /> Council meetings shall be convened on the fourth floor <br />of the city hall, Santa Ana, California, and all meetings <br />shall be opened therein, and thereafter convened in the <br />council chambers in city hall, but may adjourn to such other <br />place or places as the council may order. If, by reason <br />of damage, repair, or alteration of the structure, or other <br />emergency, said place is determined to be unsafe, meetings <br />may be held for the duration of the emergency at such place <br />as may be determined by the mayor or four (4) members of <br />the council. <br /> <br />SECTION 2: If any section, subsection, sentence, clause, <br />phrase or portion of this ordinance is for any reason held to <br />be invalid or unconstitutional by the decision of any court of <br />competent jurisdiction, such decision shall not affect the <br />validity of the remaining portions of this ordinance.
