ORDINANCE NO. NS- 2026 <br /> <br />EJC:jd(6) <br />8/16/89 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AMENDING <br />SECTIONS 31-2 and 31-3, AND ADDING SECTIONS 31-2.18 <br />AND 31.3.1 THROUGH 31-3.4 TO THE SANTA ANA MUNICI- <br />PAL CODE REGULATING USAGE OF PUBLIC PARKS <br /> <br />7 <br /> <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> SECTION 1: That section 31-2 of the Santa Ana Municipal <br />Code, is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />Sec. 31-2. Prohibited Conduct <br /> <br /> The conduct described in sections 31-2.2 <br />through 31-2.18 shall be prohibited within the ex- <br />terior boundary lines of any public park unless <br />specifically allowed through the issuance of a <br />permit pursuant to the requirements of section 31-3. <br />The conduct described in sections 31-2.1 through <br />31-2.18 shall be prohibited in the stadium or zoo <br />unless inconsistent with the terms and conditions <br />of uses permitted by a contract approved by the <br />city council. <br /> <br /> SECTION 2: That the Santa Ana Municipal Code, is hereby <br />amended by adding a section, to be numbered 31-2.18, which said <br />section reads as follows: <br /> <br />Sec. 31-2.18. Selling. <br /> <br /> a. Except as otherwise herein pro- <br />vided, no person shall sell or offer for sale <br />any food, beverage, or product of any kind on <br />any park, zoo or stadium property. <br /> <br /> b. This section shall not apply to <br />the operation of concession stands owned by the <br />City. <br /> <br /> SECTION 3. That Section 31-3 of the Santa Ana Municipal <br />Code, is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />Sec. 31-3. Permits. <br /> <br /> No person in a park shall conduct, oper- <br />ate, present, manage or take part in any of <br />the following activities unless a permit is <br />obtained prior to the start of the activity. <br /> <br /> <br />
