ORDINANCE NO. NS- 2051 <br />PAGE TEN <br /> <br />SECTION 10: That section 14-32 of the Santa Ana Municipal <br />Code is amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />Sec. 14-32. <br /> <br />Valuation of existing buildings (Section <br />10.301(g)). <br /> <br /> Subsection (g) is added to Section 10.301 of the <br />Uniform Fire Code, to read as follows: <br /> <br /> (g) For purposes of this section, an existing build- <br />ing or structure shall be deemed to have a value equal to <br />the current cost of construction of a building or structure <br />of the same size and type of construction. In determining <br />such value, the fire marshal shall be guided by the most <br />recent building valuation data published by the Inter- <br />national Conference of Building Officials. <br /> <br />SECTION 11: That section 14-33 of the Santa Ana Municipal <br />Code is amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />Sec. 14-33. Determination of required fire flow (Section <br /> 10.301(h). <br /> <br /> subsection (h) is added to Section 10.301 of the <br />Uniform Fire Code, to read as follows: <br /> <br /> (h) In determining the fire flow requirements for <br />any building structure, or fire area, the fire marshal <br />shall proceed in accordance with the standards set forth <br />in that certain "Santa Ana Fire Department Guide for <br />Determination of Fire Flows," of which not less than one <br />(1) copy is on file in the office of the clerk of the <br />council of the City of Santa Ana. <br /> <br />SECTION 12: That section 14-34 of the Santa Ana Municipal <br />Code is amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />Sec. 14-34. Historical property. <br /> <br /> Subsection (i) is added to Section 10.301 of the <br />Uniform Fire Code, to read as follows: <br /> <br />(i) This subsection applies only to buildings, or <br /> portions thereof, which have been designated as <br /> <br /> <br />
