NS- 2052 <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANTA <br /> ANA AMENDING SECTION 16-29.5 OF THE <br /> SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE CLARIFYING <br /> THE MEANING OF THE INDUSTRIAL WASTE <br /> EXCLUSION IN THE CITY'S REFUSE <br /> COLLECTION REGULATIONS <br /> <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> That section 16-29.5 of the Santa Ana Municipal <br /> amended to read as follows: <br /> <br /> Sec. 16.29.5. Exclusions from "refuse." <br /> <br /> The following items are not "refuse" for purposes of <br /> this article: <br /> <br /> 1) A flammable waste. <br /> <br /> 2) A containerized waste (e.g., a drum, barrel, <br /> portable tank, box, pail, etc.). <br /> <br /> 3) A waste transported in a bulk tanker. <br /> <br /> 4) A liquid waste. <br /> <br /> 5) A sludge waste. <br /> <br /> 6) A waste from an industrial process, which waste <br /> is not eligible for disposition in a class III <br /> landfill under applicable laws and regulations <br /> of the State of California. <br /> <br /> 7) A waste from a pollution control process. <br /> <br /> 8) Residue and debris from the cleanup of a spill <br /> or release of chemical substances, commercial <br /> products or any other special wastes. <br /> <br /> <br />
