ORDINANCE NO. NS- 2070 <br /> SEVEN <br /> <br /> (b) Any owner or agent of an owner of residential <br /> who is not in compliance with subsection (a) of <br /> his section on the date of adoption of the ordinance <br /> this section to the Santa Ana Municipal Code <br /> L1 have 60 days from and after such date to discontinue <br /> noncompliance. Thereafter any such noncompliance <br /> be unlawful. <br /> <br />Sec. 4 1309. Interpretation of standards. <br /> <br /> In ,nstruing the parking standards set forth in <br />this , the following rules shall govern: <br /> <br /> (a) rever required off-street parking is based <br />upon 1000 re feet of gross floor area, the number of <br />required shall be determined by dividing the <br />gross floor by 1000 and multiplying the result by <br />the number of s ~es required for each 1000 square feet. <br />If the product Jot a natural number, the number of <br />required spaces 1 be the next lower natural number if <br />the decimal \is less than .5, or the next higher <br />natural number if the~decimal fraction is .5 or more. <br />Wherever required off-Street parking is based upon some <br />other factor, the numbe~ of required spaces shall be <br />determined by the same a~thmetical process. <br /> <br /> (b) Wherever two or ~ore district uses identified <br />in this article exist on th~same site: <br /> (1) If the uses are physically separate, the number <br /> of parking spaces required for each use shall <br /> be determined ~parat~y. <br /> (2) If the uses are mixed t~ether in the same <br /> area, the standard resulting in the higher <br /> number of required spaces~hall control. <br /> <br /> (c) Wherever a particular use o~property can be <br />classified under more ~.han one sectio~f this article <br />which sets minimum parking space requirements, the <br />section which contains the more specific ~se description <br />shall control. If .two o~ mo~ e~a}ly s~e~fic sections <br />apply, the section imposing the higher stan~rd shall <br />control. ~ <br /> (d) Wherever ~_~ark. in? is ~sed ~p~ the <br />number of seats in an area, 18 inches of bench s~ce <br />shall be deemed the equivalent of one seat. ~ <br /> <br /> 615 <br /> <br /> <br />
