O08 <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. NS- 2091 <br />PAGE S IX <br /> <br />a conspicuous place, at each entrance <br />off-street parking area. <br /> <br /> (d) Location. Spaces designed for use by <br />persons shall be located in accordance with the <br />standards to the extent practical: <br /> <br />to the <br /> <br />handicapped <br />following <br /> <br />(1) <br /> <br />Where one building is served by the off-street <br />parking area, such spaces shall be the closest <br />to the primary entrance to the building. <br /> <br />(2) <br /> <br />Where more than one building is served by the <br />off-street parking area, such spaces shall be <br />located to provide for safety and optimum <br />proximity to the building entrances of greatest <br />use. <br /> <br />(3) <br /> <br />Such spaces shall be located so that a <br />handicapped person is not compelled to wheel <br />or walk in or across the aisles or driveways <br />used for vehicular traffic, except to move <br />beside or behind his or her own vehicle. <br /> <br />(4) <br /> <br />If such spaces are located in a parking <br />structure or ramp, such spaces and all pedestrian <br />aisles to be used by handicapped persons shall <br />have a minimum overhead clearance of eight (8) <br />feet, two (2) inches, and such spaces shall be <br />located on the street level of the structure <br />or within easy access to an elevator. <br /> <br />Sec. 41-1307. Motorcycle spaces. <br /> <br /> Any site which has 100 or more parking spaces shall <br />provide, for each 100 spaces, a 17-feet by 18-feet <br />motorcycle parking area, bordered by bumper guards or <br />concrete curb to preclude automobile access to such area. <br /> <br />Sec. 41-1308. <br /> <br />Prohibition against separate charge for <br />parking on multiple-family residential <br />property. <br /> <br /> (a) No owner or agent of any owner of multiple <br />family residential property shall impose any charge on <br />any resident for the privilege of parking in the off- <br />street parking spaces on such property which is separate <br />and distinct from the rent charged to such resident for <br />such resident's dwelling unit. <br /> <br /> <br />
