AUTO SERVICING AND AUTO REPAIR DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT STANDARDS <br /> <br />In addition to the zoning standards applicable for this use, the <br />design standards apply to auto body and auto ~epair uses: <br /> <br />A three (3) foot high berm and hedge shall be <br />planters required along all street frontages. <br /> <br />in the <br /> <br />Driveway access on through <br />streets primarily servicing <br />residential purposes. <br /> <br />lots should be allowed onto <br />property z¢ or used for <br /> <br />Building elevations containing <br />not face toward a public street <br />property if the elevations are <br />zoned or used for residential <br /> <br />or repair bays should <br /> toward residential <br /> 300 feet of property <br /> <br />A centralized utility core ara be provided containing <br />the loading zone required (ii), the trash enclosure <br />required by 41-623, ut meters, transformers and <br />equipment rooms. Such core should be adjacent to and <br />easily accessible to service/utility entrance of the <br />building. <br /> <br />A six (6) foot minimum masonry block wall shall be <br />provided along si. and rear property lines not abutting <br />public streets. .ls or fences excluding chain_link shall <br />not exceed 42 high within 15 feet of public streets. <br />If the site ts a commercial development, the Planning <br />Manager may or delete the wall requirement. Flowering <br />vines should planted at intervals along the wall to <br />discourage <br /> <br />Exterior elevations facing public streets shall have <br />a of 50 percent of the storefront in clear glass. <br /> <br /> A (5) foot minimum planter should be provided around the <br /> foot,tin: of all building elevations except at pedestria~ and <br /> vehycular entrances to said building and at any building <br /> e~vation abutting a landscaped perimeter yard. <br />~ sa~e pedestrian path should be provided from the required <br />on-site parking to the primary customer entrance. <br /> <br /> <br />
